PHP: Yii Framework Written by Dark Snake 747 and posted on November 7, 2014 at 12:35 AM
While working on restructuring some of the screen generation scripts for our site, I ran into an interesting problem with Yii Framework's CGridView widget and models that come from a MySQL table with a composite primary key. The error was actually a PHP warning which read "urlencode() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given". Displayed as shown below. Without getting into other potential workarounds or arguing possible flaws in the structure of my data, I'm goi... Read The Full Article

A quick and straightforward notice for y'all.  About a week ago, Youtube implemented a feature that allows users to finally upload videos in glorious 60 frames-per-second quality!  This is limited to the 1080p and 720p HD resolutions but the difference between 30fps and 60fps is instantly noticeable.  Any video uploaded before the release will still be in the old framerate but this is quite a triumph for game enthusiasts that like to upload or like to just watch gam... It means that our site will look good on mobile devices such as phones and tablets. It's even going to expand a little for those of you with larger m... Read The Full Article

New to my Husbands "gaming world" and not really sure what to write about, I thought that I would delve into his thoughts a little... Zombies!  He is always coming up with ridiculous situations in which I am to decide what I would do at that moment had there been a zombie apocalypse.  My answer is always that I would be the first to die; I’m not exactly a survivalist.  Fortunately for me, I think it's going to be quite some time before that happens and 2015 is... EvilEye Games has completed their first official game: Sneaky Agent Man. It was made in 6 days calendar time with dramatically less actual time to work and prevented every night from providing a normal, healthy sleep pattern. With only two developers on hand, we made the decision to use RPG Maker as an engine - which I am quite pleased with overall. There were some caveats to this decision, but ultimately it was fun and simple to work with. We were developing against... Read The Full Article
