The three RPGs (Hokuto no Ken 3-5) seemed to symbolize a genre change after the first two platformers, but the series changes the genre once again in the sixth installment, which is a fighting game similar to Street Fighter II or Mortal Kombat. The background story is based on the manga/animé of the same name. The years is 199X, and the world lies in ruins. Technology can no longer be used, and the land is controlled by fighters of rivaling styles. In this game, you can choose one of the fighter characters of the series: the main hero Kenshiro, his brother and rival Raou, Nanto Seiken fighters Rei and Souther, the assassin Heart, and others. You fight one-on-one, filling an energy bar and performing various attacks and techniques. There is a free fight mode where you choose your opponent yourself, and a two-player mode.

Battle fish as you would in real life from your living room. Once you have your skills down jump to the online leaderboards to battle against the best players in the world.

In this game the player uses the Wii Remote to fish. Most of the fish players can catch are real, but there are some fictional fish can be caught as the game progresses. Players can also buy upgrades of their pole and new kinds of bait. Its sequel Fishing Master World Tour was released on January 6, 2009 in North America.

A next-gen upgrade of Fisherman's Bait: A Bass Challenge for the PSOne. This one features five different lakes to fish in, each free-roaming and with seven different types of fish to catch including Catfish, Trout and Bass to name a few. There are a 110 different lures to choose from as well as 100 different rod and reel combinations to choose from. To catch fish the players must hit certain buttons when prompted in order to keep the fish hooked, the larger the fish, the faster and harder the sequences. There is even a Fish Mood Meter that gives the player tips on why the fish aren't biting and how to remedy the situation. There is also a two-player mode, where friends can take on each other head-to-head or against an AI opponent in a series of mini-games along with the obligatory career mode.

Fisherman's Bait brings the simple fishing gameplay of the original arcade title to the Playstation. Reel in 6 different fish like the Rainbow Trout and Largemouth Bass using 7 kinds of lure. Once you get a bite, drag your catch by pressing buttons in alternating fashion. Challenge Tournament mode and catch as many fish as you can in the set time limit!
