Release Date: October 14, 2008   |   Genre:
The characters can travel between a variety of locations in the game using their black and white 1960 DeSoto Adventurer, which, when selected, will present the player with a list of available destinations. The DeSoto is also used for several driving sequences, usually involving pursuing or fleeing criminals in other vehicles. In these driving sequences, the player can use Sam's gun, the car's horn, or have Max attempt to communicate with other vehicles via a megaphone. In addition, special inventory items may be used to complete specific puzzles within these sequences.[8] Driving sequences are also used for several minigames, such as pulling innocent drivers over for fabricated felonies. In keeping with the developer's heritage from the LucasArts adventure games, Sam & Max Save the World is designed so that the player characters cannot die or reach a complete dead-end.

If you're a fan of the series, season two is a no-brainer and a welcomed continuation of the duo. Season two now supports widescreen resolutions. At first, you have to go on a case about Santa Claus, but it gets far, far, Deeper. I will say that if you are going to get this instead of Save the World (AKA Season 1), Play Ice Station Santa through What's New, Beelzebub. Trust me, there is a Bonus at the final episode of the season that you get if you go through the order it was made for. While you are playing through the game, You can get rad Decals from the C.O.P.S and even upgrades to your DeSoto if you grab all the decals each episode. Sam and Max: Beyond Time and Space is an experence that is worth the ride. if you have 30 bucks and been wanting to buy a good Point and Click adventure, then by all means, get this. The main reason I play these games is for the story and comedy. This is overall a great adventure game, which I though was more difficult than the first season. Deffinately recomended if you like Sam & Max in any shape or form. Read More Posted: December 6th, 2013 Was this review helpful? While i enjoy the last 3 episodes just fine and Ice Station Santa was fun, I just didn't like Moai Better Blues. In my opinion it is the weakest episode in the pack. 7/10 Read More Posted: November 28th, 2013 Was this review helpful? The first episode sends you off on a hunt for 4 special items, at least half of which are won via stupid mini-games. This does not bode well for the rest of the season. It's as if the game is tired of coming up with puzzles for me and is now resorting to handing over the solution so long as I can do a simple pushup every now and then. If only the laziness ended there! Well at least the main characters are still funny. Read More Posted: November 26th, 2013 Was this review helpful? Release Date: December 14, 2000   |   Genre: Music
This game is the update to the original, maraca shaking, Samba de Amigo. A lot more has been added than in most updates. A new hustle maneuver complements the six original ones giving life to a related mode of play requiring to shake maracas and assume poses in new manner; the song list has been nearly doubled, with many new songs such as Vamos de Carnaval, the theme from Rocky and even the Wedding March being included. All songs can optionally be played shaking and posing in the previous instalment's way, or rather in Hustle Mode: wholly different game experiences follow from one or the other of the two of the choices. For anyone who thought they had the original game mastered, there's a survival mode where you have to play through all 43 songs making a maximum of 8 mistakes in total. The Challenge mode is refreshed with new goals to achieve, as well as five secret stages intending to set the player before a more exacting challenge. The core gameplay effectively remains the same as the original though. This game was only released in Japan.
