Bejeweled 2 continues PopCap's gem-matching game with four play modes, ten sci-fi backdrops, and new strategies to master. Once again players are challenged to create matches of three or more by swapping adjacent gems horizontally or vertically. Players advance levels and build their score until it is no longer possible to create a match. Bejeweled 2 introduces the ability to create two new gem types. Matching four produces a "power gem" that detonates if matched with similar gems. Creating five-gem matches forms a "hyper cube," which clears the entire board of the gem type it touches during a swap.

Game modes include practice, regular competition (where the player can select or deselect each event, for men and women), random events, Decathlon or Heptathlon and of course, the Olympics. While in previous games the Olympics were usually just a set of events, in Beijing 2008 they are much more complex, and feature a game where the player must complete a number of challenges each day with the difficulty level and number of necessary successes increasing progressively. While in the other modes there is a slight slowdown during the technical parts of the events, in Olympic the player must assign points to it, and trigger when required. The player also needs to assign points to other key areas, such as speed, technique or accuracy. Failing to reach the goal for the day forces the player to load the game and try again.

Beggar Prince is a role-playing adventure game for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and PC. It was originally released in 1996 for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis by C&E Inc. and later ported and released in 1998 on the PC. An English translation of the Sega Genesis version was produced by the North American company Super Fighter Team. A prototype version was first shown to the public on August 20, 2005 at the Classic Gaming Expo in Burlingame, California. The completed game began shipping to pre-order customers on May 22, 2006, at the price of $40USD per copy. Beggar Prince was the first game for the Sega Genesis to be commercially released in North America since 1998.
