World Tour Racing was the first racer available for the Atari Jaguar CD. Earlier cartridge games, like Super Burnout and Checkered Flag were received with mixed reviews, which created some excitement for the release of WTR. Gameplay includes customizable cars, seven different racing views, and surprisingly intelligent AI. World Tour Racing also features a damage system -- too many mid-race collisions will force drivers to the pits.

World Trophy Soccer (also known as European Club Soccer) is a reworking of Manchester United Europe, using the same side-view gameplay and a wider view than Krisalis' other football game of the time, John Barnes' European Football. All the teams who were in contention for one of the 3 main European tournaments as they were at the time of the game's release are included, although with fictitious player names and a few inaccurate kits. Cutscenes detail the match's progress, while a referee is active on the screen. The game can be played in arcade or simulation modes, with 6 different formations available.

World's Scariest Police Chases puts the PlayStation gamer in the driver's seat of a powerful cop car with the goal of chasing down and apprehending a variety of criminals with diversely dangerous driving styles. The game offers over 50 miles of road and highway to patrol. A story mode follows the player's virtual law enforcement career and he goes up against more devious criminals and gains access to more powerful vehicles. Other modes of play allow more freeform law enforcement. When driving for law and order doesn't fit the mood, players also have the option of evading their fellow officers in the game's "Bad Boy" mode. Television host Sheriff John Bunnel adds commentary as players race toward mission goals.

Focused on national teams (12, including Italy, Spain, Denmark, Netherlands, England, Argentina, France, USA, Germany, Romania, Belgium and Brazil), the game offers a 2.5D environment (polygonal stadium and sprites for players) and three camera angles (back, isometric and side) with four zooming levels. Modes include Exhibition, World League (either single or double, with 44 matches and a grand final to crown the Grand Champion), S-League (just one round, 11 matches), cup knockout and penalty shootout, the game keeping track of statistical information of each competition. Gameplay is regular arcade, with simplicity being privileged over tactical knowledge or complex controls, with the game offering the possibility to choose between three types of controls. Other options include the ability to choose one of four difficulty levels, length of each half (3, 6 or 15 minutes) and weather conditions (fine, rain or random).
