Сюжет
По окончании второго турнира, Хейхати обучал Дзина традиционному стилю боевого искусства семьи Мисима. В преддверии третьего турнира, совершается нападение людоеда Огра. Мать Дзина, Дзюн Кадзама, исчезает и Дзин думает, что Огр убил её. Он отправляется на третий турнир, чтобы свести счета с Огром. После победы в храме над Огром, Дзина убивает Хейхати. Однако в Дзине проснулся Дьявол, и пробив стену Дьявол Дзин улетает в неизвестном направлении.

The gameplay in Tekken 2 is much like its predecessor with a few additions. It continues to use 2D backgrounds in its stages, an infinite playing field, and a fighting system that utilises four buttons: left punch, right punch, left kick, and right kick. Distinct additions included attack reversals for some characters, back throws, chain-throws, and a sidestep unique to two characters, Kazuya Mishima and Heihachi Mishima; However, Yoshimitsu has a spinning sidestep move that lowers his health. Tackles were also modified to inflict damage when running from a greater distance. Each time the game is beaten with one of the default available characters in arcade mode, the associated sub-boss character becomes selectable.

A handheld version of Namco's venerated fighting series, this PSP game is based on the arcade expansion to Tekken 5. Dark Resurrection features over 30 characters, including Dragonuv and Lili, the two new characters that were added for the Dark Resurrection arcade update. Also making the trip over from the arcade are new stages, themselves based off the original Tekken 5 stages, but with climate and time effects as well as new background objects, totalling 19 stages. Namco has a few additions exclusively for the PSP version as well. Look forward to new game modes, including time attack, practice and mini games, while ad-Hoc wireless play allows for multplayer bouts. Namco hopes to add new items to the game, perfect for creating custom characters prior to a match.
