Gamers head off to tranquil lakes and sandy beaches in an effort to wrangle more than 40 different kinds of fish in Reel Fishing: Angler's Dream. The game takes advantage of the Wii's motion-sensitive controls to let players cast and reel just as they would in real life, and each of the 40 fish species fights and flees like its real-world counterpart. When gamers are satisfied with their catch they can head back to the lodge, where the Fishing Master doles out expert advice and showcases the new equipment players have earned. Angler's Dream also strays into life development sim territory, because the lodge includes a number of aquariums where gamers can care for and rear their most prized catches. The ultimate goal for solo players is to track down the rare and elusive Legendary Fish, but those looking for multiplayer action can join up to three friends in the competitive "Versus" mode.

In Reel Fishing Paradise 3D, players will travel to over a dozen stunning fishing locales in their quest to become master anglers. They'll fish tranquil lakes, rocky coasts, flooded forests, and more, all rendered in eye-popping 3D that brings every leaping fish and splash of water to life.

The game's beautiful graphics, ocean setting, and intuitive controls bring the fishing experience to life. Players can start the game in Free mode and choose from three different fishing spots. The majority of the action is experienced in the Season mode, however, where you are challenged to maintain a fishing career. From the Aqua Lodge menu screen, you will be able to travel between three different rooms: your work desk, the fish tank room, and the stock corner. At your desk, you can read "Fish Find" magazine for more information on how to catch fish, or you can search through your lure and fly organizer (empty at the beginning of the game). If you catch some fish and decide to keep them, you have the option of placing them in one of the appropriate fish tanks. One is for salt water, one for fresh water and one for running water. Once you start fishing in the Season mode, you're able to choose between two fishing spots. When you catch a certain number of fish, you're allowed to go to more areas and gain levels.

Reel Fishing is designed to create a realistic angling experience in the comfort of the gamer's living room. Strategy comes in choosing the right lure for the circumstance and it takes skill to hook the big ones and reel them in successfully. Underwater shots and "fish-eye" views of the lure offer a perspective on the sport that few ever see on an actual outing. Players can even take a "picture" of their prize catch before releasing it back into the virtual wild.
