Wild Arms is a Japanese-style role-playing game set in Filgaia, a fictional world that has elements of American Old West setting and medieval fantasy. The game's prologue consists of three chapters, each dedicated one of its three main characters; afterwards, the player controls them as a party. Like most representatives of the genre, the game features turn-based battles against randomly appearing regular enemies and bosses. Beside attacking physically, the characters possess unique abilities - ARMs for Rudy, sword techniques for Jack, and magic for Cecilia. Characters can also equip special accessories (runes), which conjure powerful creatures known as the Guardians during battles, to attack enemies or assist the party by casting supportive spells.

Wex Major is a teenager from Earth whose parents were kidnapped by aliens. Traveling through space, Wex comes into contact with a powerful weapon system known as The Rig. Apparently the young boy is the only one who can harness the power of The Rig, and he is proclaimed The Great Champion, a legendary leader who can rid the oppressed people of the Andromeda Galaxy from the tyranny of the evil gigantic monster named Karn. Wex recruits other teenage mutants and becomes the leader of Wild 9, an organization that aims to overthrow Karn and liberate the galaxy. Wild 9 is a 2D platformer with 3D graphics, featuring gameplay similar in vein to the company's Earthworm Jim games. Unique to the game is the The Rig, a weapon the protagonist wields. The Rig functions like an electronic lasso, capable of moving objects as well as carry around and smash enemies, which is often needed to solve puzzles and progress through the game's ten levels. A few stages focus on avoiding obstacles and taking on boss enemies.

To play a Wii Sports game, all you need to do is pick up a controller and get ready for the pitch, serve or that right hook. If you've played any of these sports before, you're ready for fun! Play Tennis, Baseball, Golf, Bowling and Boxing in the comfort of one's living room. No ball boys scurrying about, no oil from the alleys to get players dirty and no rain to keep anyone from a day at the court, park or course. Wii Play: Motion is a minigame collection that features Miis as playable characters. All the minigames require use of the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which allows Wii Remote movement to be detected with greater accuracy. Twelve minigames are available to play with both single-player and multiplayer modes.

Wii Play collects nine quick and addictive games that are easy to pick up and play and hard to put away. Thanks to the intuitive controls of the Wii Remote, even the most inexperienced gamers will have no trouble mastering the controls.

Wii Party U is a multiplayer video game consisting of a standard board game with mini-games, similar to Mario Party. Over 80 different new mini-games will be available. Multiple people can play mini-games using the Wii U GamePad. "House Party" games also return from Wii Party, and focus on various implementations of the Wii U GamePad and Wii Remotes amongst a group of people.

Wii Party features 13 different game modes divided amongst three categories: Party Games, House Party Games, and Pair Games. Most of the game modes integrate use of Wii Party's 80 mini-games. The game also offers additional modes that make exclusive use of the mini-games. Party Games are games in which four players compete against one another. Two of the modes in this category, "Board Game Island" and "Globe Trot", are similar to a traditional board game: a player rolls a die and proceeds the indicated number of steps (Mii characters are used as players' game pieces). At the beginning of each round, a mini-game is played that provides the winning players an advantage on the game board, such as an extra die or money. In "Board Game Island", the first player to reach the goal wins; and in "Globe Trot", which is most similar to gameplay in Mario Party, players travel around the Earth to specific destinations, such as India, Egypt, or the United States, to buy souvenir photographs of the relevant landmarks, shopping items, or cuisine – the player with the most photographs and money by the end of the game wins. House Party Games are activities that focus on the players' physical interactions with the Wii Remote, requiring two players or more. Pair Games are designed for play with only two players, either cooperatively or competitively.
