Motor Mash is a top down cartoon racer for 1 to 4 players by using a multi-tap or by sharing the joypad similar to Micro Machines 2. You can choose to play single player practice, Knockout Races, Single Player Tournaments, Multi Player Tournaments, Beat the Clock and Team Knockout. Players can select from 12 characters and race across level with different themes. There's jungle, aztec temples, inner city, wild west, nightmare, arctic themes. Each of the themes have unique hazards like bridges, crossing trains, oil wells, cyclones, snowmen and killer plants. In each race the goal is to leave your opponents far behind so they go off screen. You can by pushing them off bridges or into hazards. When there is one player left, that player wins and all other players return to start again from that point. Each time credits are awarded depending on how long each player lasted on screen. Lose all credits and you're out of the game, last man standing wins the race.

You are one of MotorCity's finest performing your regular duties: patrolling every street, making routine arrests, issuing tickets, and setting up speed traps. Suddenly the calm is broken! There's a crime in progress and you're the first to respond. You contact the helicopter patrol who's already on the scene. Time is of the essence. Using your surveillance map, you find the best route to the scene of the crime just in time to make the collar. It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it!

The game features are based on the 2004 MotoGP season. The game allows the player to race in 5 game modes: Quick Race, Time Attack, Championship, Challenges and Multiplayer in a variety of difficulties and weather conditions.

Those wanting to take less of a risk with their riding technique will be able to switch on the player assists for a more forgiving style of racing. For players who want to feel the full intensity of MotoGP racing, all the in-game player assists can be switched off, delivering challenging and realistic gameplay that emulates the MotoGP experience. ‘Career’ mode will be complimented with the addition of brand new co-op play. Through local splitscreen gameplay a second player can jump into the race and become a team mate, helping to take your team to pole position. The classic ‘Championship’ and ‘Time Trial’ modes are back along with a revised ‘Challenge’ mode. This year fans of the MotoGP will be able to play as their racing hero from the start in all three of these game modes. As with MotoGP 09/10, MotoGP 10/11 will continue to offer the most robust online mode in a racing title, allowing up to 20 players to compete in a Championship race.
