Panorama Cotton (パノラマコットン) is a 1994 shoot-'em-up for the Sega Mega Drive developed by Success and published by Sunsoft exclusively in Japan. It is the third game in the Cotton series of so-called "cute-'em-ups" for their unique visual style, and diverts from the gameplay of other Cotton titles. The release packaging included a promotional tea cup, which is now quite rare. Its method of gameplay would be reprised for the Dreamcast Rainbow Cotton. Willows are special types of candies in a world of witches and fairies. Fairy Queen Velvet starts saying things that don't make sense, and the fairy Silk realizes it is because of monsters who are burning Willows (a burnt one was found near the castle garden). The witch Cotton, who loves eating Willows, conveniently shows up, learns of this, and vows revenge.

Until recently we hadn’t heard of Panzar and there’s a good chance you haven’t either. Developed by Moscow-based developers Panzar Studio the game first appeared back in April 2012 when it went into open beta. The game has had a very successful first year as it has attracted over a million players. Panzar Studios are now hoping to build on that success by bringing the game to Europe. Panzar is a free-to-play fantasy MMO with a focus on action and team-based play. Your characters can earn XP and level up to obtain new skills but there is none of the usual story or quests you would find in games such as World of Warcraft (WoW). Instead the action is all set in arena battles where two teams fight against each other across a variety of modes. To get started you simply need to sign-up for an account at http://www.panzar.com and then download the free game client. It’s over 4Gb in size once installed on your PC so it’s quite a lengthy download if you don’t have a blazing fast internet connection. - See more at: http://www.entertainment-focus.com/game-review/panzar-review/#sthash.qX5OtD0P.dpuf

An evil robotic army invades city after city and nothing seems to stop them, that is until fighting hero Kou and his band of heroes decide to put the hurt on the invading forces and set off in a quest to liberate each city and finally destroy their flying robotic whale HQ. (Yeah, robotic whale HQ). The game prompts you to select from four different characters, each with his/her unique moveset and sends you off for eight enemy-infested stages in which you must use your attacks to pummel everything that crosses your path. You only have two planes of vertical motion, which are mainly used to avoid enemy fire, and the game includes a power-bar that increases with your attacks and allows you to unleash super moves. These moves also increase an overheat gauge which renders you useless for a while, so as to avoid abusing the super moves. Features an anime intro and cutscenes, and the game uses 2D sprites with some polygonal elements for background elements.

Panzer Dragoon is set in a distant oppressive future. The Dark Dragon needs to be destroyed, and you, Keil Fluge, are aboard a dragon and armed with a powerful weapon to do so. In this shooter, you ride an armored dragon on a predefined path with 360º of freedom (you can rotate and zoom in and out). This path takes you through an aquatic setting, through a tunnel and over a forest, and into combat with giant worms, wasps and flies. Each level ends with a boss. In a idea influenced by the film Blade Runner, cutscenes use a fusion language combining elements of German, Latin and Japanese.

The second Panzer Dragoon game is not a sequel, but a prequel to the first, and is also set in a post-apocalyptic world where mankind struggles against forces of nature, trying to re-build their civilization. The game follows the story of a boy named Lundi who lives in a frontier town. The area is populated by mutant animals called "khourieats". The town inhabitants see them as bad omens and kill them. One day Lundi finds a small khourieat with wings. Instead of killing it, Lundi decides to hide it and keep it as a pet. After his town was destroyed by an ancient weapon, Lundi sets out on a long journey with his pet, who will soon become a powerful dragon. Like the first game, Panzer Dragoon Zwei is a rail-shooter. The player follows a pre-set course and either uses Lundi's gun or the dragon's special abilities to dispose of the enemies. Lagi (that is the name of the dragon) can evolve during the game and gain more powerful attacks, which signifies a step towards a real RPG like Panzer Dragoon Saga.
