This is a game, but you are not a player. A KO in Sword Art Online means certain death. Veteran gamer Kirito leads the players to the 75th level of the labyrinth, and there he defeats the game master Heathcliff. However, that isn't the end of the story, because he still hasn't found a way to log out and bring his friends back to reality. The game takes place after the end of the first story arc. Kirito and his friends are on the 76th level of the labyrinth. The creator of the series, best-selling writer Reki Kawahara have designed new trials for the characters. In this game, you will be partnered up with an AI controlled character, by fighting with him or her side by side, you can raise your partner into someone you can truly entrust your back to.

Sword Master establishes the tale of an evil wizard in league with a monstrous demon who have dared to kidnap a damsel. The Sword Master is a knight who seeks to rescue the fair lady and destroy the evil people and creatures in the castle in which they dwell. It is a parallax side-scrolling action game in which the player must use sword and shield to battle through 7 game levels, from the forest, to a cursed town, to multiple levels of the villain's castle lair. The player will encounter giant bats, wolves, skeleton warriors, evil knights, wizards, lizard men, gargoyles, and other fierce enemies on his quest. The Sword Master can swing his sword, defend with his shield, and gather power-ups which enable him to change his form; for example, the Sword Master can transform into a magic user himself and cast offensive magic spells.

Sword of Mana is an enhanced remake of the original Game Boy game Seiken Densetsu. At the beginning of the game, the player is able to choose to play as the male lead or as the female lead, both of whom are named by the player. They each have a different quest, but their plots remain similar. Notably, the remake adapted many elements from the original game, which had their origin in Final Fantasy, and favored elements traditional to Mana games (for example, the chocobo was replaced by cannon travel). One notable exception to this are moogles, which do appear in the game. Sword of Mana was made to resemble the graphical style of Seiken Densetsu 3, but the artwork rather resembles that of Legend of Mana. The ring system from Secret of Mana is featured once again, allowing players to choose various options on the field screen. The day-and-night system introduced in Seiken Densetsu 3 also makes a return. Much like Legend of Mana, players can forge weapons, plant produce in an orchard, and read recorded events in the game's "Hot House" feature.
