F1 is an Official Formula One Racing Game. It's also the fastest, most authentic, most thrilling Master System racing game yet. Battle it out on the real Formula One Circuits against the real teams and the real drivers of the FIA Formula One World Championship. The game is fully licensed by the FIA and Fuji Television, which means all drivers, teams and tracks are fully licensed. The player drives in the fictional Domark team with James Tripp, facing drivers such as Riccardo Patrese and Michael Schumacher (Benetton), Jean Alesi and Gerhard Berger (Ferrari), Mark Blundell and Martin Brundle (Ligier), Johnny Herbert and Alessandro Zanardi (Lotus), Michael Andretti and Mika Häkkinen (McLaren), Andrea de Cesaris and Ukyo Katayama (Tyrrell) and finally Damon Hill and Alain Prost (Williams). Ayrton Senna (then in McLaren) is absent due to his endorsement to Sega's Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II.

F1 2000 allows you to take on the role of any of the 2000 FIA Formula One Championship drivers. All of the tracks used during the 2000 season are also included, even the US Grand Prix at Indianapolis. Championship, quick race, weekend and time trial are just some of the modes included in the game. The championship mode allows you to go through a full season of FIA action, from start to finish. Time trial mode lets you challenge the computer's (or your own) best times on a track of your choice. The weekend mode allows you to take part in a full weekend of events, from the practice sessions to the actual race itself.

The game features all the circuits that are on the 2009 calendar including the Marina Bay Street Circuit for night racing and the new Yas Marina Circuit. The game only features the 20 drivers that started the 2009 Formula One season, and does not include the driver changes that were made during the season. There are 15 driver aids each switchable on and off for first time and experienced players, and in the multiplayer version, the level of help changes according to the player's skill, by using a "Fair Play" system. The game features slick tyres,[6] as well as the newly-introduced KERS concept, although the game has the feature on all the cars, not just the few that actually used it in the motor racing series. The game offers several different gameplay modes: Quick Race, Time Trial, and a two-player split-screen mode on the Wii.

In F1 2010 gamers will take on the full, expanded grid in a variety of game modes including Grand Prix, Championship, Time Trial and an extensive, innovative Career mode. F1 2010 will also feature a highly advanced damage model, fully dynamic weather system and extensive competitive multiplayer options.
