The player maneuvers Peter, a cartoon rodent, through various environments to collect objects and take them back to his nest within a designated time. Enemies, referred to as "The Gang", include cats, dogs, owls, and spiders, and must be avoided or stunned by throwing gems or collected objects. Each successive stage increases the number of objects to collect, reduces the allotted time to collect them, and adds more enemies.

Neverland. That magical island where dreams come true and children never get old. Home to mythical tree fairies and beautiful mermaids. The most wonderful place in the whole world. "Wonderful, indeed," thought Captain Hook, the wickedest pirate on the seven seas, "but not for long! When my crew of cutthroats is done ravaging the island, Neverland will be mine at last. Then, I'll have my revenge on that litttle pest Peter Pan!He'll walk the gangplank before I'm through!" Now you can help Peter Pan rid Neverland of the evil pirates and destroy Captain Hook once and for all! But hurry! There's no time to lose!

The nefarious pirate Captain Hook found a map to Neverland's hidden treasure and intends to plunder it. Since he now knows where the treasure is located he hacks up the treasure map to pieces and scatters the pieces throughout Neverland so no one else will be able to locate the treasure. Meanwhile, the fairy Tinkerbell informs Peter Pan that there is a treasure somewhere in Neverland. So now Peter Pan and Tinkerbell are on a quest to locate the hidden treasure too by finding and putting back together the pieces of the sliced up treasure map. Players take the role of Peter Pan and occasionally as Tinker Bell throughout 20 different stages. Some of the stages include Hangman's Tree, the Mermaid Lagoon, Pirate's Cove, Indian village, and Skull Rock.
