Players assume the role of Trey Kincaid, a nano-physicist played by Hollywood action star Bruce Willis. And darn it if he isn't the world's only hope; he has been called upon to defend the world, destroy the Four Horsemen, and thwart the Reverend's plans. Apocalypse's goal is a simple one: progress throughout multiple levels and destroy, kill, and exterminate any and all resistance. Played from a third-person 3D viewpoint, Kincaid can maneuver in a 360-degree rotational manner; this is very important as the action takes place on all sides.

APOX is a real-time strategy game that uniquely includes gameplay concepts from first-person shooters. Like in a FPS, you can prone, crouch, switch active weapons, throw grenades, and loot corpses. Soldiers in APOX have limited ammo, but ammo sharing is done seamlessly. Soldiers can be placed in vehicles, and this essentially lets you create your own unit designs. APOX keeps everything that makes RTS great like making bases, controlling strategic sites, and managing your resources.

OK. So croquet may not be a popular idea for a video game, but the Japanese being as Japanese as they are, they went and did it anyway. So what does Appare! Gate Ball have to offer? First up is the choice between action and simulation mode. The main difference that I can make out between the two is that in action mode you have to both aim the shot and set the power, in simulation only the shot aiming is required. Your game is played out in two teams, rather than two individuals, and the members of your team are chosen from a variety of weird and crazy looking characters with varying attributes. Shots are aimed in a simple overhead viewpoint, which then switches to a standard view for the execution of the shot itself. All this is accompanied by a jolly little tune that plays away in the background.

Aq Renkan Awa (阿Q連環炮) is an unlicensed educational game for the Sega Mega Drive by C&E Inc. released in 1995. There are five game modes. The first three are some variants of the normal gameplay: you are a student on a game board-like path. You roll a die to see how many spaces you move. At most spaces there is a building where you are asked five questions. If you get a certain number correct, you can stay at the spot you were in; otherwise you go back to the previous position. Play continues with the next player. The fourth game mode has various minigames (TODO describe). The fifth game mode is a basic quiz game show.
