Today - October 23rd, 2015 - The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes was released for the Nintendo 3DS. I was lucky enough to check it out during the pre-release demo and was extremely pleased. You could play locally or online (during limited times) with 2 other players. I was only able to get time enough to play with other random players online (no local play) but - aside from some latency issues and a couple individuals more interested in trying to upset their teamm... A quick and straightforward notice for y'all.  About a week ago, Youtube implemented a feature that allows users to finally upload videos in glorious 60 frames-per-second quality!  This is limited to the 1080p and 720p HD resolutions but the difference between 30fps and 60fps is instantly noticeable.  Any video uploaded before the release will still be in the old framerate but this is quite a triumph for game enthusiasts that like to upload or like to just watch gam... A nice new application has made its way to the Nintendo eShop for the 3DS - YouTube. In this day, that name needs no explanation. This application is a free download and seems to expose the entire world of YouTube to your handheld gaming device. Personally, I like this application a lot. Running on my simple home network's wireless, I can quickly pull up a video and watch it with no hassle. It seems like the app does a great job of preventing lag or video disruption... I have run into this issue a few times now and it seems like something that should be so easy to identify and fix, but in my experience the identifying part is just not clear and easy enough. Obviously, I can't promise this is what you are running into, but read the problem explained below for more details before you do anything. Hopefully this helps save us all a little time. The Problem When you try to navigate to a CListView or CGridView page other than the initial... Read The Full Article

Microsoft announced that Games with Gold will be going to the Xbox One as well as staying with the Xbox 360. As a reminder of what this is, this essentially gives people with an Xbox Live Gold membership a free game twice a month via digital download over Xbox Live. They have given away some pretty decent titles; so it's worth keeping an eye on. Curious about what games have been released so far? Check out the complete list here: Games with Gold Complete List They ar... Read The Full Article

New to my Husbands "gaming world" and not really sure what to write about, I thought that I would delve into his thoughts a little... Zombies!  He is always coming up with ridiculous situations in which I am to decide what I would do at that moment had there been a zombie apocalypse.  My answer is always that I would be the first to die; I’m not exactly a survivalist.  Fortunately for me, I think it's going to be quite some time before that happens and 2015 is... As of 3:00AM today, we have some new features on the site... though, most won't actually be seen. The items we added are more geared toward our business than our community. SORRY!! That said, we now give a little to the community; but where do we start with so much in our plans? There are number of features we are going to be juggling to get all done and pushed out to the public for use. These features include: Giving members a way of managing "friends" on our s... Developer's World Written by Dark Snake 747 and posted on September 12, 2013 at 4:43 PM
In terms of technical product development, design could mean a few things. We aren't worrying about that now. Instead, we will focus on design as in the pre-production phase of a well-structured development effort. Okay... so what does that mean exactly? When a project to create some technical product (web site, application, game, etc) is thought up, it cannot just be created (or at least shouldn't be). There needs to be a time where you ask questions and find the an... Read The Full Article

With the start of a new year comes a refreshing sense of renewal. We have big plans (as usual) and hope to see a lot of them come to life in these next 365 days. The primary item I want to mention is with our articles. While we hope to increase the number of articles and frequency of them, we also hope their content can continue to grow into more useful and interesting topics. We are always open to suggestions if someone is interested in hearing our thoughts on somethin... Read The Full Article

We have officially gone live and so far have had very few problems... and that is a good thing. Not a lot to report aside from that at the moment. We are looking for people interested in writing articles and other content for our site. So, if you're interested, contact us as soon as you can. And spread the word! Others may be quite interested. We are currently working on finishing up some other projects, putting together our billing system (finally), and beginning th... Read The Full Article
