Hatsune Miku, the iconic virtual pop star from Vocaloid, finally has a game released to the North American region for Nintendo's 3DS - Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX.
There was a launch bundle that included a high quality fabric wallet chain and 19 double sided AR cards. I was able to grab this bundle for the same price I would have paid for the game alone, so it was a good decision and opportunity for me. Perhaps you can have the same luck?
The game itself is a musi... Read The Full Article

This is not a game that we've done anything with, but I personally support it. They don't even know who I am or that I am posting this.
They are short on time and not far from funding the level editor feature. The game is a great idea. If you've never heard of it, you should check it out. Below is a link to the kickstarter; you can find all the info there. The game AND the developers of it (Skookum-Arts) deserve all the attention they get.

Wow! Time can slip by so fast. Sorry for the lack of posts, but time has been unusually argumentative over the past month. But enough about us; let's talk about what we are doing for you! Some exciting updates including nuggets, Facebook, and our game list!
Jumbo Nuggets
We are all pretty tired of struggling to see our nugget collections. These aren't fine diamonds or snowflakes we are talking about - they are nuggets; and they have detail worth looking at (most of the... Read The Full Article

For those of you that enjoy the thrill of taking up the blade and rising to the call of being a fearless hero to a kingdom in need - I doubt the Legend of Zelda games need an introduction. For those of you that may not be fully familiar with this game series, let me tell you that it is truly a masterpiece of its genre and generations. With a beautiful (and at times cliche) story driving the game play, players are faced with nearly endless adventure and demanding puzzles... Read The Full Article

Hello fellow Looters!
I apologize for having missed you on July's unboxing event. The theme was VILLAINS and I certainly played the villain in not providing you with a view of the tasty goodies contained inside. Fear not, however, for I am back for the unboxing of the August Loot Crate!
This month, in appreciation of balance in the universe Loot Crate provided us with a HEROES crate to combat all the villains set loose in the previous month.
Let's jump right in!

Hello readers, welcome to the first article following an unboxing of a Loot Crate. Don't know what a Loot Crate is? Well it is a subscription service for less than $20 a month including shipping. Every month Loot Crate sends out a new box filled with various items centered around a theme. Some previous themes were Space, Dragons, and Adventure. Dragons had items from Game of Thrones and Dungeons and Dragons etc. Adventure combined items from Minecraft, Adventure Time, an... Read The Full Article

While using a layout defined in the documentation of MDL, I noticed a oddity with my results compared to what the documentation was showing. The icon that opens the left drawer menu (a menu that slides in and out from the left of the page) was much higher up on my page than their example. It was noticeably bad.
The icon in the top left is too high up and looks bad.
I fixed the issue, though I don't completely know why this did it. If anyone has some insight, feel fre... Read The Full Article

Yesterday, Microsoft announced that it had acquired the rights to the Gears of War franchise from Epic Games. The next installment will be an Xbox One exclusive made by Black Tusk Studios. But Rod Fergusson, formerly of Epic Games, will be one of the people overseeing the project. One must ask the question, however, how will this ownership change affect the franchise? Gears of War: Judgment sold noticeably less copies compared to the other games in the series a... Read The Full Article

In the world of 60+ dollars a game, it is certainly preferred to find a decent price... and you can't get much better than free.
Microsoft is giving away 2 full version games for absolutely nothing to anyone that wants them. The only qualifying factor is that you must have a Gold Xbox Live membership. Silver gets you nothing (no surprise there really). To get them, you can navigate to the game on your Xbox 360's marketplace or find them on xbox.com. When signed in... Read The Full Article

Minecraft, hopefully not a new game to anyone. Its been around for quite some time and those of us that have been playing it for as long as I can really appreciate this last update to version 1.7.2 being called "the update that changed the world".
Forgive my photography, but the image above shows some of the new plant life you can find in this version, which really adds to the depth of the world. These simple visual changes helps give us a more natural feel to the... Read The Full Article
